In our collective effort to see Indigenous learners flourish, LRSD has made significant local investments to address several of the education-specific Calls to Action.LRSD has also implemented the Circle of Courage, which is a model of positive youth development first described in the book, Reclaiming Youth at Risk,co-authored by Larry Brendtro, Martin Brokenleg, and Steve Van Bockern,as a whole-learner framework and as a reference tool in our strength-based class profile process in all 40 LRSD schools. 9'
