Students apply through their respective high schools, which enable them to remain and participate in school events and extra-curricular activities such as sports, music and student government. Students usually enroll for one semester at LRATC in a Technology Education program of their choice and for one semester at their home school. Several academic classes at the Grade 11 and 12 level are also offered at LRATC to help overcome home school timetable conflicts due to enrolment at LRATC. Academic classes need to be arranged with home school counsellors. PARTNER SCHOOL DIVISIONHIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS Students in Division Scolaire Franco-Manitobaine (DSFM), Sunrise and Seine River School Divisions, as well as Springs Christian5Academy, can apply through their home high school.ALL OTHER HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS SCHOOLS OF CHOICE APPLICANTSStudents residing outside the Louis Riel School Division may apply to LRATC under the Manitoba Education School of Choice program. A School of Choice student is defined as an individual who is 19 or under as of September 30th in the calendar year and who has not obtained a High School Diploma.
